India: Hindalco hikes aluminium ingots prices by INR 6,600/t

Hindalco has raised aluminium ingots (P1020 grade 99.7%) prices by up INR 6,600/t ($80/t) against 26 Oct’22. However Balco’s price remains unchanged at INR 220,250/t ($2,671/t), while Hindalco’s prices are at INR 217,500/t ($2,637/t) exw, excluding GST.
The price hike was the result of an increase in LME futures and spot prices by up to 1% d-o-d.
