India’s primary aluminium producer has reduced ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by INR 5,250/t ($63/t) today in comparison with 26 Jul’24 levels. Hindalco’s prices are at INR 216,250/t ($2,582/t). Primary players are driving aluminium prices lower, leading to a prolonged drop in LME values. All prices are ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on LME stood at $2,251/t.
