Hindalco, a primary aluminium producer in India, reduced aluminium ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by INR 1,750/t ($21/t) compared to prices on 3 Sep’24, with effect from 5 Sep. Hindalco’s prices stood at INR 235,750/t ($2,807/t). All prices are ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on the LME stood at $2,389/t.
