Hindalco and Balco have decreased primary aluminium ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by up to INR 3,500/t ($44/t) on 30 Jun’22 as against 29 Jun. Hindalco’s effective price is INR 225,750/t ($2,850/t), while Balco’s price is at INR 228,250/t ($2,891/t) exw. The closing price for the three-month aluminium futures on LME stood at $2,471/t on 29 Jun, down $20/t on day, while cash prices decreased by $48/t to $2,452/t d-o-d on the last trading day.
