India: Hindalco, Balco hike aluminium ingots prices by INR 4,500/t

Hindalco and Balco have increased primary aluminium ingots (P1020, 99.7%) prices by INR 4,500/t ($55/t) today d-o-d.
Balco’s prices stand at INR 229,250/t ($2,803/t), while Hindalco’s prices are at INR 225,750/t ($2,760/t) exw, excluding GST.
The price hike was the result of an increase in LME spot and futures prices by up to $50/t d-o-d.
