India: Hindalco, Balco hike aluminium ingot prices INR 2,750/t ($35)

Hindalco and Balco increased primary aluminium ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices on 31 May’22 by INR 2,750/t ($35/t) compared to 26 May.
Hindalco’s effective price is INR 256,250/t ($3,299/t) exw, while Balco’s effective price stands at INR 258,500/t ($3,328/t) exw.
The three-month LME aluminum contract price was recorded at $2,888/t on 30 May as against $2,872/t on the last trading day.
