Hindalco and Balco have increased primary aluminium ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by up to INR 5,000/t ($63/t) today. Hindalco’s effective price is INR 222,000/t ($2,778/t), while Balco’s price stands at INR 222,500/t ($2,784/t) exw. The closing price for the three-month aluminium futures on LME stood at $2,423/t on 18 Jul’22, up $83/t d-o-d, while cash prices increased by $57/t to $2,377/t.
