India’s primary producers have increased aluminium ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by up to INR 2,500/t ($29/t) today in comparison with 30 Aug’24. Hindalco’s prices were at INR 244,250/t ($2,911/t), up by INR 2,500/t ($29/t). Balco’s prices were raised by INR 2,000/t ($23/t) to INR 246,000/t ($2,932/t). All prices are ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on LME stood at $2,446/t.
