Hindalco and Balco have increased primary aluminium ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by up to INR 1,500/t ($19/t) today as against 24Jun. Hindalco’s effective price is INR 224,000/t ($2,848/t), while Balco’s price stands at INR 226,500/t ($2,880/t) exw. The closing price for the three-month aluminium futures on LME stood at $2,458/t on 27 Jun, largely stable d-o-d, while cash prices increased by $17/t to $2,453/t.
