India: Hindalco, Balco cut aluminium ingots prices by up to INR 3,000/t

Hindalco and Balco have reduced primary aluminium ingots (P1020, 99.7%) prices by up to INR 3,000/t ($36/t) today as against 30 Dec.
Balco’s prices stand at INR 228,250/t ($2,753/t) while Hindalco’s prices are at INR 223,500/t ($2,696/t) exw, excluding GST.
A 2.8% fall in LME’s aluminium prices recently may be the reason behind the decline in domestic prices, SteelMint notes.
