India: Hindalco, Balco cut aluminium ingots prices by up to INR 2,500/t

Hindalco and Balco have reduced primary aluminium ingots (P1020, 99.7%) prices by up to INR 2,500/t ($30/t) today.
Balco’s prices stand at INR 218,000/t ($2,650/t) while Hindalco’s prices are at INR 214,500/t ($2,607/t) exw, excluding GST.
A 3.5% fall in LME’s aluminium futures prices on yesterday’s closing could be the reason behind the decline in domestic prices, SteelMint notes.
