ERW patra pipe prices rose by INR 1,500/t in Raipur and INR 500/t in Mandi Gobindgarh respectively on 18 Apr’22. Current prices of base grade ERW pipe (41-60 OD) are at INR 64,500/t exw-Raipur and INR 66,000/t exw-Mandi, excluding GST. The surge in raw material prices prompted ERW pipe makers to increase prices. Pipe prices in Raipur were at INR 60,000/t last week, edging up by INR 4,500/t w-o-w while prices surged by INR 5,000/t w-o-w in Mandi.
