Heavy structural steel prices in Raipur remained stable today. The current offer for 150mm channel stands at INR 56,500/t exw. Prices remained supported due to an increase in raw material (sponge iron and billet) across the region despite dull trade. Deals of around 700 t were recorded at INR 54,500-55,000/t. Trade discounts given by suppliers are at around INR 1,500/t.
