Heavy structure steel prices opened stable d-o-d in Raipur after rising by INR 800/t on late evening hours yesterday. The current offer for 150mm channel stands at INR 55,500/t exw. The recovery in steel billet prices and moderate deals of around 700 t of structures encouraged suppliers to hike prices sharply on last trading day. Trade discounts are being given in the range of INR 1,000-1,200/t.
