Heavy structure steel prices increased by INR 500/t in Raipur d-o-d. The current offer for 150mm channel stands at INR 57,500/t exw. Higher raw material (sponge iron and billets) prices prompted sellers to increase offers. However, trade was limited in the spot market. Discounts by suppliers are hovering at around INR 1,000-1,200/t.
