India: Heavy structure steel prices fall by INR 500/t in Raipur

Heavy structural steel prices in Raipur decreased by INR 500/t to INR 54,700/t exw d-o-d for basic size i.e 150mm channel. Trade discounts are hovering at around INR 1,200-1,500/t. Subdued buying enquiries and low trade volumes from the past few days amidst the downtrend in steel billet prices pushed suppliers to decrease structural steel prices.
