India: Heavy structure steel prices drop by INR 500/t d-o-d in Raipur

Heavy structural steel prices in Raipur, Chhattisgarh decreased by INR 500/t to INR 56,500/t exw d-o-d for basic size i.e 150mm channel. Trade discounts in the spot market are hovering at around INR 1,500/t.
Subdued buying enquiries and lack of trade volumes from past few days amidst the downtrend in steel billet prices pushed suppliers to decrease prices.
