Heavy structural steel prices remained stable d-o-d today after falling by INR 500/t on 29 Oct’22. The current offer for 150mm channel stands at INR 54,500/t exw. Despite lower buying enquiries and a decline in steel billet prices, suppliers kept offers firm on hopes of a slight recovery in the market these week. However, trade discounts were high at around INR 1,500-1,700/t.
