Heavy structural steel prices in Raipur increased today by INR 300/t d-o-d to INR 54,300/t exw for basic size 150mm channel. Till now in this week, structural steel prices have increased by INR 800/t. Rise in steel billets prices in the region forced manufactures to raise offers, while trades are weak on higher prices. To liquidate the material, suppliers are also offering discounts of around INR 1,000-1,200/t, sources told SteelMint.
