Heavy structural steel prices dropped by INR 500/t d-o-d in Raipur. The current offer for 150mm channel stands at INR 51,000/t exw. Due to sluggish demand at higher prices that were increased after the removal of export duty, it could not sustain and thus suppliers continued to reduce offers in the spot market. Notably, this week, manufacturers declined their offers by INR 2,000/t.
