Heavy structural steel prices in Raipur have dropped by INR 500/t. The current offer for 150 mm channel stands at INR 54,500/t exw. Manufacturers are offering trade discounts as per market requirements and availability of material because lack of demand has forced producers to curtail production. Weak buying enquiries for structural steel, plus decline in prices of semis, have resulted in the price reduction.
