Export offers of hot-dipped galvanised iron (HDGI) coils (0.50mm, 900-1,250mm) from India fell by $5/t w-o-w to $980/t FOB west coast this week. Demand is there in the market but buyers are holding back from booking amid volatility in the global market, sources informed SteelMint. India’s galvanised steel exports in Jan’23 increased m-o-m to 0.22 mnt against 0.07 mnt in Dec’22.
