Export offers of hot-dipped galvanised iron (HDGI) coils (0.50mm, 900-1,250mm) from India remained unchanged w-o-w to $980/t FOB west coast this week. Mills are of the opinion that deals shall be signed for April shipments in the near future amid an improving buying interest in Europe, sources informed SteelMint. India’s galvanised steel exports in Jan’23 increased m-o-m to 0.22 mnt against 0.07 mnt in Dec’22.
