The Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. has completed the process of allotment of an 800-acre site at IMT Kharkhoda in Haryana’s Sonipat district to auto major Maruti Suzuki Ltd. The first plant with a manufacturing capacity of 250,000 vehicles per annum is expected to be commissioned within 2025 subject to administrative approvals. In the first phase, investment is expected to be more than INR 11,000 crore.
