India: Gravita signs binding pact to acquire RMIL, enters copper segment

Gravita India has signed a binding agreement for the proposed acquisition of Rashtriya Metal Industries Ltd (RMIL), marking its formal entry into the copper segment. The acquisition provides access to a state-of-the-art facility in Gujarat with a production capacity of 31,200 tonnes per annum (t/year). The move aligns with Gravita’s strategy to diversify beyond lead recycling and strengthen its non-ferrous portfolio.
