SteelMint has learnt from sources that Indian GE prices have moved up by 6%, or INR 20,000/t on a quarterly basis for the Oct-Dec’21 quarter. The price of 600mm UHP grade electrodes has been finalised at INR 360,000-365,000/t ($4,900-4,970/t) and for 450mm HP grade electrodes the price has been fixed at INR 285,000-290,000/t ($3,880-3,945/t) for a key Indian buyer.
