Major Chhattisgarh-based steel producer Godawari Power & Ispat (GPIL) has concluded a 2,600 t wire rod export deal to neighbouring Nepal at $480/t (loaded onto rakes). The steel-maker had previously concluded wire rod export deals to Sri Lanka and Mombasa, apart from Nepal in mid-Sept’20. Prices for Nepal have inched up to $480/t from $467/t in Sept’20.
