India: GPIL registers 16% y-o-y rise in pellet production in FY’26

Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd (GPIL) produced 2.856 mnt iron ore pellets in FY’26, up 16% y-o-y against 2.449 mnt on accounting improvement in domestic demand.
Total iron ore mined totalled to 2.749 mnt this fiscal against 2.342 mnt in the FY’25.
The company has 4.7 mnt total pellet capacity and has enhanced EC limit at its captive Ari Dongri mines, now upto 6 mnt/year.
