As per company’s press release of July 13, 2018, Larsen & Turbo – a construction arm in India has won mega orders of INR 3,000 crore from Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Authority (APCRDA) for engineering, procurement and construction of Head of Department (HOD) office buildings at Amravati, Andhra Pradesh.
The project has to its credit of being the first Steel Diagrid project in India, the first project in combination with Automatic Climbing Formwork System (ACFS) Et Diagrid and will be the tallest government office building in India. The project is a fast track job to be completed within stringent time-lines.
An order has been received from a reputed client for the construction of a tourism-related facility in Muscat, Oman. The scope includes structure, architectural finishes, MEP services and extensive landscaping & external development.

L & T Bought Re-bar for Hyderabad Projects
As per our sources, Recently L &T has bought around 3,500 MT of rebar from one of the Indian large steel producer for its Hyderabad projects. Also, heard that deal of such large quantity of rebar concluded at around INR 43,800-44,000/MT (12-25mm, GST 18% extra).
L & T Financial Performance
Q4 Growth: Revenue of the infra major increased to INR 40,678.10 crore in Q4FY18 against INR 36,827.99 crore in Q4FY17.
Annual Growth: Consolidated net profit of the company jumped 22% year-on-year to INR 7,369.86 crore in FY18 against INR 6,041.23 crore during FY17.
