Expanding its efforts to expedite allocation of coal blocks, the government has decided to commence the fourth tranche of auctions under commercial mining. This comes only a day after technical bids were opened for the third tranche. The latest round will feature sale of 99 coal blocks, whose details will be disclosed in a launching event today.
