India: Govt concludes sale of 29 coal blocks under commercial mining scheme

The coal ministry has carried out sale of 29 coal blocks under commercial mining scheme at an average revenue share of 24%. These blocks, having a geological reserve of around 8,160 mnt, were offered under fifth and sixth tranche of auctions. JSW Steel bagged the highest of 4 blocks, while a number of new players also featured in the winner list.
