Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd. (GPIL) has increased domestic pellet offers by INR 300/t ($4/t) to INR 12,000/t exw ($157/t) from INR 11,700/t ($155/t). Active participation at NMDC’s iron ore lump auction and hike in sponge iron prices led to the rise in pellet offers.Bids for the DR-CLO lots in yesterday’s NMDC auction from Chhattisgarh increased by around INR 1,580-1,670/t.
