Central India-based Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd (GPIL) has recently disclosed details regarding the enhancement of its iron ore beneficiation plant capacity. Highlights:
- The Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board has accorded “consent to operate” to GPIL for operationalising enhanced capacity.
- The iron ore beneficiation plant’s capacity will be enhanced from 1 mn t to 3.28 mn t/year.
The operations of the beneficiation plant are expected to commence within a week.
