Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd (GPIL) has lowered pellet offers for the domestic market. Offers have fallen by INR 800/t ($11) to INR 12,500/t ($169) exw as against INR 13,300/t ($180) on 25 Oct’21. Decline in sponge iron prices and falling bids have resulted in the decline in pellet offers. GPIL’s pellet production stood at over 0.52 mn t in Q2 FY’22.
