Directorate of Mines & Geology (DMG) of Goa plans to conduct 25th e-auction for 1.62 mn t iron ore on 24 Mar’21. The material to be put on auction consists of fines, lumps and ROM with highest grade reaching Fe 57.74%. The auction is being held after a gap of almost four months. In Nov’20 auction, about 3 mn t of iron ore was put under hammer out of which only 1.1 mn t was sold.
