India: Goa 5th E-auction receives Moderate Response

Out of 1.8 MnT, Goan government sold 0.9 MnT Iron ore in the 5th e-auction.

DMG, Goa offered 1.8 MnT Iron ore (1.10 MnT fines, 0.53 MnT ROM & 0.12 MnT lump) in the 5th e-auction held on 06 & 07 Nov, 2014. Out of the total quantity, 0.9 MnT Iron ore (0.60 MnT fines, 0.14 MnT ROM & 0.12 MnT lump) was sold. It can be inferred that steel mills & exporters have bought the material and seems to be inclined towards high grade Iron ore.

Steel mills have procured 0.4 MnT Iron ore and 0.4 MnT of the raw material was procured by the exporters namely Bagadiya brothers, Royalline Resources and VM Salgocar. State-owned Pellet manufacturer and exporter, KIOCL has bought 0.1 MnT ore.
