Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), also known as Vizag Steel is a navratna PSE under the ministry of steel has invited a global tender for purchase of 50,000 MT imported pulverized coal injection coal at Visakhapatnam, India.
RINL/VSP intends to take the delivery of shipment tentatively in February 2018 / March 2018 from a single source only.
Eligibility:
• Established Overseas PCI Coal Producer(s) owning, managing and controlling PCI Coal Mines and producing washed / unwashed PCI Coal.
• Established Overseas PCI Coal Suppliers offering PCI Coal produced by Overseas Producers, duly backed by a Letter of Authority (in original) of the concerned PCI Coal Producer, specifically authorizing the said PCI Coal Supplier to make an offer in response to this Invitation to Tender.
• In case of an offer being made by a Supplier for a PCI Coal brand of Chinese origin the Letter of Authority referred to above should be submitted from one of the following four agencies authorized by Government of China to export PCI Coal from China, M/s Shenhua Coal Trading Co. Ltd , Beijing, China, M/s China National Minerals Co. Ltd., China Minmetals Corp. Beijing, China, M/s Shanxi Coal Imp. & Exp. Group Corporation, Shanxi, China and M/s China Coal Imp & Exp Company, Beijing, China
