Secondary Pig iron manufacturers of foundry grade maintain offers looking at stable demand. Only a couple of manufacturers have raised prices.

A trader in Durgapur told Steelmint,[su_quote] Steel mills have raised offers to INR 26,700/MT (basic) but observing poor response from market, they have sold at INR 26,500/MT (basic). Prices rise by INR 300/MT, was previously at INR 26,200/MT.[/su_quote]

Ludhiana based trader said, [su_quote]Prices for Pig iron is hovering at INR 32,300/MT (VAT extra) for foundry grade, rise of INR 900/MT.[/su_quote]

Tata Metaliks hikes Offers by INR 600/MT

Though, Pig iron market does not seem to be much active, Tata Metaliks has taken a move to increase its prices (foundry grade) by INR 600/MT to INR 28,000/MT(basic).

Tata Metaliks is one of the largest Pig iron manufacturing company located at Kharagpur in West Bengal, with an annual capacity of 345,000 MT.
