Fomento Industrial Private Limited placed the highest bid for the Mauli iron ore block in the Maharashtra mines auctions by quoting a premium of 96%. The Mauli block is spread over 24.26 hectares (ha) with exploration done up to the G1 & G2 level. The mine has total geological resources of 0.98 mnt with an average Fe content of 58.84% for fines and 59.96% for lump ore.
