India’s finished steel consumption was recorded at 7.96 mn t in the month of Sep’20, a growth of 3.7% m-o-m as against 7.67 mn t in Aug’20, the recent data released by govt shows. Improved downstream steel demand primarily from auto & white goods sector boosted the country’s steel consumption.
