Federation of Indian Minerals Industries (FIMI) has requested Ministry of Mines to impose ban on export of pellets to ensure the availability of high grade material for domestic steel industry. They have also requested for facilitating the liquidation of iron ore stocks (around 162 MnT of Fe 58-62%) lying idle from past few years.
