Melting scrap prices witnessed minor fluctuations across markets on 31 Aug’21, as per SteelMint reports. Rising sentiments in the semi-finished steel market are supporting scrap prices, particularly in the Punjab market. However, there is slight supply shortage in Mandi Gobindgarh. Prices in other markets have either corrected marginally or remain stable on normal buying interest. Prices in the near-term are expected to remain range bound, trader sources informed.
