India: Ferrous scrap imports rise 14% m-o-m in July

  • India imported 435,191 t of ferrous scrap in Jul’22, a rise of 14% m-o-m from 381,306 t in Jun’22.
  • The UAE continued to be the largest supplier at 66,073 t followed by USA, and UK.
  • On a y-o-y basis, import volumes increased by 38% from 314,683 t in Jul’21.
