- India’s ferrous scrap imports were recorded at 352,000 t in May, down 9% m-o-m from 387,000 t in Apr.
- The UAE was the largest supplier at 90,980 t followed by the USA and UK at 21,570 t and 21,400 t, respectively.
- On a year-on-year basis, import volumes rose 22% from 28,890 t in May’21.
