One of the biggest ferrochrome manufacturers of India struck a deal for 1,000 t at INR 85,000/t ex-works basis. Ferrochrome prices have been increasing sharply owing to rising Chinese demand. Meanwhile, prices in China is escalating amidst increase in production cost and production cuts in Inner Mongolia. Indian producers believe that the prices might touch the INR 1,00,000/t level soon.
