India: Ferro silicon producers raise prices as Bhutan closes sales

Indian ferro silicon manufacturers hiked their offer prices after Bhutanese producers stopped offering material in the market in anticipation of higher prices, SteelMint learnt from sources. Currently producers in Guwahati are offering a price as high as INR 145,000/t. There is an increased expectation among the suppliers that prices might touch the INR 150,000/t mark soon owing to higher international prices.
