Ferro silicon prices in Bhutan were stable as demand continues to remain subdued. However supply continued to be restricted which has kept prices unchanged.
SteelMint weekly assessment for ferro silicon (grade 70-75) is at INR 65,000/MT (Ex-Bhutan), unchanged W-o-W.
A Bhutanese producer stated, “The steel industry still isn’t doing well, so raw material procurement managers are on a very tight leash.”
Ferro Silicon Prices Stable; Fundamental Still Weak
Ferro silicon prices in the domestic market have found support at current level indicating very little change, with a lack of buying interest from steel mills.
SteelMint weekly assessment for ferro silicon (grade 70-75) is at INR 63,000/MT (Ex-Guwahati), unchanged W-o-W.
“The market situation is practically the same for a long time, with low but constant demand from buyers,” stated a producer from Meghalaya.
SteelMint assessed that ferro silicon market to remain at this level and not much change is expected in terms of prices.
