Ferro silicon prices have found support at current levels showing very little indication of change while demand from buyers remains modest.
Bhutan based Ferro silicon producers have kept the mainstream prices for 70-75% grade unchanged, with deals being concluded at INR 65,000/MT (Ex-Bhutan). There is low but constant demand in the market, and producers are not thinking of raising their offers.
A Bhutan based producer said, “Despite regular enquiries, there is no improvement in deals. The market is quiet now and it should recover in the coming month.”
Ferro silicon prices remain static and in Guwahati, 70-75% grade is being offered at INR 63,000/MT. Market sentiment dented as lack of sales continued to concern Indian producers.
On the future outlook, most market participants predict prices to remain at this level till month-end.
