India: Ferro silicon imports plunge 44% m-o-m in Feb’23

• India imported 11,507 t of ferro silicon in Feb’23, registering a drastic 44% m-o-m fall compared to 20,667 t in Jan’23, as per customs data.
• The major exporters were Bhutan (6,442 t), China (1,511 t), Russia (1,186 t), and Malasiya (794 t).
• Cumulative imports decreased by 18% y-o-y to 32,172 t in Jan-Feb’23 compared to 39,120 t in CPLY.
