India: Ferro silicon imports drop over 25%, m-o-m, in July

India’s ferro silicon imports dropped by 27% m-o-m to 13,151 t in Jul’22 compared to 17,941 t in June. Imports fell due to the decrease in shipments from Bhutan (8,060 t) and China (1,811 t). Cumulative imports in Jan-Jul’22 were down by 18% y-o-y, as per SteelMint data.
